Day 1: Chennai to Mettupalayam/Coimbatore, overnight or late ghat climb
Day 2: Botanical Gardens, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta
Day 3: Coonoor day — toy train stretch, Sim's Park, tea estates
Day 4: descend and drive back to Chennai
In May season and December holidays, entry to Ooty can crawl — start ghat climbs before 8 AM.
